Mindful Writing Retreats in Whitby

Join us for a day dedicated to writing and wellbeing

I will be leading one-day writing retreats at Mount House in Whitby. Writing can be a powerful tool to still the mind and promote relaxation.  In this retreat we’ll explore different ways of using words to find calm and mindfulness.  No writing experience is necessary; all you need to bring is a pen, paper and a willingness to explore where the words take you.

As well as writing workshops in the morning and afternoon, there’ll be a lovely lunch (vegetarian and vegan options available), an opportunity for a walk on the beach, and tea and cake at the end of the day.

What will you get out of the day?

  • Experience the healing power of words in a beautiful location;
  • Exploring creativity and wellbeing through words;
  • Write with a group of like-minded people;
  • Use writing as a tool of self-expression and self-care;
  • Increased calm and relaxation;
  • Gentle and supportive guidance from an experienced teacher.
